Hana Sensei organizes a forest training session, dividing the class into teams of three. Himawari and Kae are paired together, while Kawaki is separated. The first task involves a tree-climbing race to retrieve paper pieces. Kae’s team finishes second behind Eiki’s, while Kawaki’s team places last after he jumps down to assist Kae. Later, during camping preparations, Kae wanders off and is nearly attacked by a flame bear. Himawari discovers her, and their teammate pursues them. Hana Sensei distracts the bear, allowing the girls to escape, but is overpowered. Kawaki arrives to defeat the bear easily and criticizes the teacher’s weakness. Kae’s team wins the final exercise, and Kawaki congratulates Himawari for protecting Kae.
