Himawari assists Kawaki in protecting Kae, who plans to host a school event. Eiki warns Kawaki about his hidden identity. At the tea party, Eiki exposes Kawaki, but Himawari and Kawaki convince the class he enjoys sweets. Himawari mentions Gaara's friendship with Naruto. The class accepts Kawaki after he answers Kae's questions. Kawaki suspects the cake is poisoned and destroys it, upsetting Kae. He discovers the cake was merely tampered with, not poisoned. Kawaki identifies Osuka Kamakura, daughter of actor Gongoro, as the culprit. Kae confronts Osuka, who apologizes. Kae feels accepted by the class. Kawaki provides taiyaki to replace the cake.
