Hana sensei transports her students to an uninhabited island previously used as a Leaf training ground. Rumors circulate about a Rogue Shinobi hiding there, and the group discovers their food supplies have vanished. With Hana stating no transport will arrive until the next day, Himawari leads a search party while Kawaki remains with Kae. After injuries occur to an Inuzuka’s dog and Neon’s drone, Kawaki urges the group to stay together. At night, Kawaki shares his suspicion that an assassin targets Kae. Neon reveals drone footage showing Hana’s Wind Style flower petals briefly on screen. Meanwhile, Hana lures Kae into the woods and kidnaps her. Kawaki and Himawari pursue them to a bridge where Hana stabs Kae.
