Ep. 10: Sorcerer returns Ba’al while Angeline defeats him and Maria investigates his plans.

The sorcerer returns Ba’al to his king, who questions the missing portion. Angeline, now using her real name Charlotte, is tutored by Maria alongside Byaku and Saintess. Despite citizen objections, Rosetta allows them to stay, though Charlotte rejects her kindness as a nun of Vienna. Hypnotized soldiers attack, injuring Rosetta while protecting Charlotte. Adventurers hold off the soldiers as Angeline slays the controlling Inquisitors. The sorcerer frees Ba’al in the city, leading to a battle where Byaku scolds Angeline for reckless behavior. She overcomes her foolishness, defeats Ba’al, and impresses the sorcerer. Maria recognizes him before he escapes and decides to investigate his plans. Charlotte apologizes to Rosetta for misjudging her. Belgrieve cares for the boy, and Marguerite’s question about his past marriage prompts fond memories of a woman from his history.
