Ep. 7: Ryouta confronts Masashi and Souichi while investigating Himiko's true identity.
A flashback reveals Sakamoto’s rejected real-world meeting request with Himiko in the Btooom! world. Present-day Ryouta is ambushed by Souichi and Masashi, who steal his BIMS but allow him to escape to track Himiko and Kiyoshi. Masashi severely wounds Kiyoshi and dismisses Ryouta’s claims that Tyrannos Japan orchestrated the event to fix game bugs. Ryouta falls from a building, finds Himiko’s phone, and suspects she is his former game partner. He locates Himiko, who denies being the same person, and kills Souichi with a cracker-BIM. Masashi takes Himiko hostage, forcing a barehanded fight, but Ryouta is beaten. Himiko activates a corrosive-BIM, causing an explosion that allows them to flee. Masashi grabs Himiko’s leg, but Ryouta detonates a timer-BIM, killing Masashi. Tyrannos Japan executives observe the outcome.
