Mama Hitch enlists Serena to assist her brothers while she works on Philly, who subsequently revives and kills Hitch. Serena's brothers' incompetence allows two bots to escape. Casey repairs Bessie, triggering Raging Bull Mode to aid Philly. Sam witnesses Serena holding Philly at gunpoint, which activates her Cannon Buster: Sniper defense mode, killing Serena and destroying the town; Sam retains no memory of this battle mode. Meanwhile, an evil magician reveals his true identity as the forgotten firstborn son to the captured King of Botica. Upon learning Sam seeks Kelby, he dispatches a personal assassin. Elsewhere, Captain Odin escorts Prince Kelby through icy mountains toward Valdor on the way to Gara's Keep.
