Ep. 1: Sam and Casey seek immortal outlaw Philly to reach Gara's Keep and Prince Kelby.

Gynoid Sam and robot Casey Turnbuckle travel to Balloon Town to hire outlaw Philly the Kid for an escort to Gara's Keep, where Prince Kelby is located. They encounter The Black Claw bounty hunters chasing Philly, who is revealed to be immortal with number tattoos marking his deaths. To escape, Philly joins the robots, transforming his vehicle into the battle mech The Raging Bull. The trio is subsequently pursued by Royal Hunter Droids, leading to a chase through a canyon that destroys all droids but leaves the group trapped in a ravine.
