Team Trinity Dragon discovers a secret facility operated by Wakamizu and challenges him to a duel. The terms dictate that if Trinity Dragon wins, Wakamizu reveals his plan; if he wins, the team becomes test subjects. Karl and Tsuneto are defeated, but Kei analyzes their combat data to eventually triumph over Wakamizu. True to his word, Wakamizu explains he is using the facility to collect Stride Force for summoning the final Zodiac Time Beast and opening the Stride Gate. He then triggers a self-destruct sequence and escapes. The team narrowly avoids destruction and reports their findings to Kamui, who praises them and provides a comprehensive update on recent events.
