After Shion agrees to help Am save Luna, Ryuzu summons Chrono into an image revealing how he summoned the Zodiac Time Beasts following Rive's betrayal. Using their combined power, Ryuzu opens the Stride Gate to create a Tower of Light. He sacrifices the Planet Cray, converting it into energy to manifest his vision of a perfect future, causing everyone to fall into a deep slumber where they dream blissfully forever. However, Chrono, Shion, Tokoha, Am, and Taiyou awaken as chosen arbiters tasked with fighting Ryuzu and the Company. The results of their battles will ultimately determine the fate of the future once and for all.
