Höfner secures a backup role for Carole and Tuesday at the Cydonia Festival for the unreliable star Joshua. Shocked, the duo quickly writes a rock track. During the event, they avoid Ertegun and receive encouragement from veteran performer Skip before his set of "Unrequited Love" by Thundercat. When Joshua suffers a breakdown, the girls take the stage. They perform half of "Round & Laundry" against a hostile crowd until a recovered Joshua interrupts them. Prominent musician Crystal then praises their performance, lifting their spirits before closing the evening with "Unbreakable" by Lauren Dyson.
