The Choir Club attempts to share Koumura with the Drama Club, but the student council forbids it. Nagisa collapses at school and stays home for several days. Tomoyo begins waking Tomoya and Youhei early to prevent tardiness. Kyou arranges opportunities for Tomoya and Ryou to spend time together, such as sharing lunch. Yukine gives Tomoya a charm book, leading him to lock himself in the gym equipment room with Kyou. Inside, Kyou acts unusually and fears Tomoya might attempt sexual relations. Tomoya breaks the charm, and a classmate opens the door. Later, gang members confront Tomoyo at the school entrance. Teachers intervene in the ensuing fight, but Tomoya accepts responsibility to protect her.
