Ep. 18: Tomoya's Suspension and Tomoyo's Reputation Struggle
While suspended, Tomoya receives daily care from Tomoyo, who seeks answers about his father but receives none. Friends including Kyou, Ryou, Kotomi, and Fuko bring food for lunch, which Tomoya consumes entirely. Upon returning to school, he discovers rumors damaging Tomoyo's reputation and organizes sports competitions to restore her standing. Tomoyo shares her family history, revealing her brother's sacrifice to prevent her parents' divorce. Nagisa returns to school and is greeted warmly. During a tennis match, a stray ball injures Nagisa, prompting Tomoya to protect her visibly. This display leads Tomoyo to realize Tomoya loves Nagisa, causing Ryou and Kyou to cry. The episode concludes with Tomoyo assuming the role of student council president.
