Shin-chan sends a letter to a news channel and his artwork to Hiroshi via fax. Misae discovers this action, chases him, and breaks the device. Later, the school organizes a trip to a forest garden for students to paint landscapes. There, artist Picasso Kogawa observes Shin-chan and creates a beautiful painting based on his actions. Shin-chan subsequently suffers a leg sprain. Misae provides attentive care for his injury, leading Shin-chan to express his gratitude toward his mother for her support during his recovery.
