Ep. 35: Seishu misses Koshien while Valentine's Day brings romantic revelations and chocolate exchanges.
Seishu fails to qualify for the spring Koshien tournament due to their poor record. Akane wins the Koshien poster contest with a pitcher painting that Aoba claims resembles Ko, though Ko reveals it is based on his photos of Aoba. Akane discovers Wakaba’s past relationship with Ko from Akaishi. Aoba tells Azuma he will audition for the women's national team in March and states he would only date her. Both boys receive many chocolates on Valentine's Day. Aoba discards Ko’s chocolates, prompting Akane to buy replacements, including one for Azuma. Ko delivers the gift, and Azuma admits he likes Aoba because she is hard to figure out and not true to herself. Later, Akane views Ko’s photos of Wakaba, noting Wakaba’s enduring love, and gives Ko chocolate before leaving.
