Azuma questions Aoba about Akane resembling Wakaba, prompting Aoba to recall that she still views Wakaba as a fifth grader. Meanwhile, Ryuo suffers a semifinal loss at Koshien. The next morning, Ko accidentally takes Akane’s art supplies to her school and subdues an exhibitionist with a baseball. During practice, Azuma notes the similarity between Aoba and Ko. Akane later sketches with Momiji in a park and walks her home, where Aoba and her father formally meet Akane. After Aoba defends Akane from harassment, Akane identifies her based on Ko’s description of the three Tsukishima sisters. Aoba subsequently asks Ko why he withheld information about Wakaba, admitting that Akane resembles Wakaba in more ways than just appearance.
