Both Public & Basic, the production managers, and Studio Bogey, the animation studio, declared bankruptcy in early 2001. This financial collapse left 12 episodes unfinished. While the exact stage of production prior to the shutdown remains unknown, artwork for episodes 67 through 70 appeared in magazines published by Kodansha.
