Mako Mizukoshi requests that Junichi feign a romantic relationship with her. The purpose of this arrangement is to deter a persistent female suitor who has been pursuing Mako. Junichi agrees to the unusual favor, and the two engage in the charade. Once the suitor finally gives up and leaves them alone, Mako begins to reflect on her own emotions. She starts to question her true feelings for Junichi now that the pretense is no longer necessary for the original goal.
