Ep. 9: The team splits to investigate brainjacking in Egypt and Omega Dain's facility.

NICS travels to L-City to investigate Omega Dain, but learns Cairo, Egypt has been brainjacked. The group divides into pairs: Ban, Jiro, Yuuya, and Takuya target Omega Dain, while Hiro, Ran, Jessica, and Cobra go to Egypt. At Omega Dain, test player Kazama Kirito destroys ten LBXs with his customized Dequoo in under a minute. Ban, Jin, and Yuuya attempt to infiltrate the control room via air shafts. Kirito intercepts Yuuya, forcing a battle between Yuuya’s Liu Bei and Kirito’s customized Joker. Meanwhile, Ban and Jin reach the halls, but Ban gets trapped in a bathroom, altering their route. Government officials arrive, halting both conflicts. The Vice President of A Nation announces Omega Dain is blockaded, forcing all non-personnel, including the NICS members, to leave. Takuya reunites with the group after the mission ends. He then receives a call from Alan Worthen, the owner of Omega Dain.
