Ganta Igarashi and his classmates prepare for a field trip to Deadman Wonderland, a private prison-amusement park. A mysterious Red Man attacks, killing everyone except Ganta, who has a red stone embedded in his chest. Framed for the massacre with fabricated evidence, Ganta receives a death sentence and is transferred to the facility. While officials conspire to eliminate him, he encounters Shiro, a white-haired girl who understands him. When bullies assault them, a falling object threatens their lives. Ganta’s intense desire to live and avenge his class awakens his dormant abilities, allowing him to manipulate his blood to protect both himself and Shiro from the impending danger.
