Ep. 24: Izzy is trapped by Vademon and loses curiosity until he regains his crest and digivolves Kabuterimon

Izzy separates from the group to search for Tai but falls victim to Demidevimon’s trickery. He becomes imprisoned in Vademon’s pocket dimension, where his curiosity is stripped away. During this ordeal, Tentomon reverts to its infant form, Pabumon, before eventually breaking Izzy’s trance. While Izzy is dazed, DemiDevimon tries to purchase Izzy’s crest from Vademon. Seizing the opportunity, Izzy reclaims his crest and restores his curiosity. He then forces Kabuterimon to digivolve into MegaKabuterimon, allowing him to defeat Vademon. Shortly after this victory, Izzy and Motimon are discovered by Matt and T.K.
