Aired on August 29, 1999

Tai and Joe discover Mimi living like royalty among Gekomon and Otamamon, who believe her singing can revive ShogunGekomon. Mimi refuses to leave her comfortable surroundings, prompting Tai and Joe to seek Palmon's assistance in recording her voice. This plan fails, resulting in the group's imprisonment after Palmon confronts Mimi about her attitude. During the night, Mimi experiences nightmares of abandonment until Sora appears in her dream, urging her to sing and apologize. Upon waking, Mimi secures her friends' release and successfully wakes ShogunGekomon. The newly awakened leader attacks aggressively but is defeated by MetalGreymon. The next day, Mimi apologizes for her actions and rejoins the DigiDestined.
