Ep. 27: Gennai reveals an eighth DigiDestined while the group attempts to breach Myotismon's castle.

Gennai informs the group that an eighth DigiDestined exists and that Myotismon intends to invade the Real World with an army of evil Digimon to locate the child. The children infiltrate Myotismon's castle to prevent the opening of a gate to the Real World. Their mission fails when Myotismon's subordinate, Gatomon, animates a series of Devidramon to hold them off. This intervention stops the group from stopping the villain's plan to access the Real World.
