Ep. 9: Tai and Agumon defeat Frigimon to clear Black Gears and help Matt and Gabumon cross the island.

Tai and Agumon arrive on a snowy island and use soccer skills to defeat Frigimon, allowing Agumon to remove Black Gears. Frigimon then assists them in crossing to the island where Matt and Gabumon are located. Matt ignores Gabumon’s advice to search for TK, resulting in hypothermia. Gabumon saves Matt by sharing his pelt for warmth. The next day, the boys argue over their next move before Mojyamon attacks. Frigimon feeds the Digimon, enabling Agumon and Gabumon to digivolve and expel the Black Gears controlling Mojyamon. Garurumon detects Black Gears behind a wall and destroys them, causing the island to shift back toward Infinity Mountain.
