The DATS team reaches Infinity Ice Ridge and meets Hiroshi Yushima, who guides them through a cave shortcut. They navigate a swarm of Tsumemon and confront Ikuto, who intends to defeat the humans. Gotsumon betrays Ikuto, taking the group hostage while sparing Masaru, and delivers them to Merukimon. Masaru saves Ikuto from death and rushes to Merukimon's palace with Agumon for a final confrontation.
