Their arrival is quickly detected by Merukimon and a mysterious shadow, leading to an immediate ambush on the team. The attacker is revealed to be Ikuto, a ten-year-old boy who guards the forest and holds a deep hatred for humans. This confrontation marks a dangerous turn for the DATS members as they face an unexpected enemy within the Digital World.
