Rika is pursued by a chilling presence and declines Renamon’s offer of assistance, causing the Digimon to feel hurt. Left vulnerable, she is abducted by IceDevimon into a frozen dimension where he stores his victims. He proposes she become his tamer, but she refuses. Renamon arrives to rescue her, digivolving into Kyubimon, yet fails to defeat the foe. Guilmon and Terriermon intervene but are immobilized by IceDevimon’s freezing abilities. Henry frees the group, allowing Guilmon to take charge. Utilizing enhanced speed and wings, Guilmon pins IceDevimon’s head to the ceiling and destroys him, absorbing his data. The intense trauma leads Rika to declare she hates all Digimon, resulting in her and Kyubimon parting ways.
