Ep. 6: Renamon learns to digivolve through Rika's care after being defeated by Dokugumon

Rika feels let down by Renamon for failing to digivolve against Allomon and relying on Guilmon and Terriermon for assistance. Renamon departs alone and encounters Impmon, who suggests that humans are unnecessary for her strength. During this time, a Dokugumon attacks and severely injures Renamon. Rika tends to Renamon's wounds, which triggers Renamon to digivolve into Kyubimon. Kyubimon swiftly defeats the Dokugumon with a single strike. She explains to Rika that the act of being cared for was the true catalyst for her digivolution, resolving the conflict between them.
