Henry and Terriermon halt the conflict between Guilmon and Renamon, allowing Takato to locate a secure hiding spot for Guilmon during his absence. The two Digimon eventually resume their battle, but Terriermon obstructs an attack. He digivolves into Gargomon; however, he loses control of his new powers and nearly injures Rika. Guilmon intervenes to save Rika from the accidental harm caused by Terriermon's unstable transformation.
