Fujita brings Matsumura’s remains to Kikurage, who cannot restore him. Ebisu confirms she transforms objects into reptiles, recalling a man in Caiman’s mouth. Caiman quits his job to protect Nikaido, returning alone to the sorcerer world. There, he helps a pie-maker named Fukuyama, who hires him under bosses Tanba and Kirion. Risu returns to his apartment, remembering his death where a Cross-Eyes gang member stabbed him. He now fears running out of magic charge. En plans the Blue Night Festival, a multi-day event for sorcerers to find partners and sign binding contracts. Caiman sneaks in by stealing a uniform but gets distracted by work duties. Meanwhile, Noi is attacked by Baku, who uses magic to force her into a partnership with Shin.
