Mr. Popo engages Goku in a game of hide and seek to improve his concentration and ability to sense ki. Concurrently, Tien, Krillin, Yamcha, and Chaozu continue their journey to locate Korin's Tower. Their path leads them to a village situated at the foot of a large mountain, which the residents worship as a protective deity. The tranquility is shattered when the mountain suddenly erupts. The four warriors immediately rush to intervene, attempting to halt the flow of lava heading directly toward the town to prevent disaster.
