While allies seek shelter, Goku braces for Piccolo's ultimate strike. Piccolo releases a massive energy wave equivalent to a nuclear blast, destroying the entire island. Amidst the settling dust, Goku remains standing. Capitalizing on Piccolo's exhaustion from the immense power output, Goku strikes back with a Kamehameha, driving his opponent into the ground. As the count nears nine, Piccolo raises his head and fires an energy beam that pierces Goku. Despite the severe injury, Goku refuses to yield, continuing the intense confrontation.
