Ep. 150: Goku and Chi Chi seek a scientist to find Bansho fan materials in a volcanic region.

The inhabitants of Frying Pan cannot put out the castle fire, prompting Goku and Chi Chi to ask the Turtle hermit for help crafting a Bansho fan. They travel south to a volcano to gather materials, where Goku pacifies a resident beast. Meanwhile, Mai and Shu pursue the Fire Eater. Chi Chi discovers a large egg tended by a scientist who reveals the fate of the Fire Eaters. Emperor Pilaf, Mai, and Shu arrive, but flee after Goku destroys their drill vehicle. A surviving Fire Eater emerges from the crater to hatch the egg. Goku and Chi Chi escape with the scientist but return empty-handed, though Chi Chi retains an egg fragment. The scientist then directs them to the location of the Bansho fan.
