Baba informs Goku that the fan is broken, requiring a journey to the Magical Furnace in the Dark World to meet Tajoro. Goku and Chi Chi travel there, leaping over a large gap and evading bats. As they proceed deeper, the environment becomes more perilous, yet they realize the dangers are imaginary and continue their path. Meanwhile, the Ox King becomes trapped at the castle peak. At the furnace, Goku encounters Gohan, who reveals that Tajoro is actually named Amin. Goku intends to extinguish the furnace, but both Gohan and Amin oppose his plan.
