Goku encounters villagers fleeing a monster called InoShikaCho. He finds two men, one with a third eye, who claim to have defeated the beast for 100,000 zeni. Goku later discovers the trio together, revealing the men only pretended to kill the monster for payment. A fight ensues where the stranger knocks Goku unconscious with a falling tree. A girl rescues him, and they travel to another village where the same men repeat their scam. The men falsely accuse Goku of colluding with the monster. When Goku attempts to take InoShikaCho away, villagers intervene, but the girl who saved him appears to clear his name and expose the truth.
