Vegeta launches a remorseless assault on Goku, killing bystanders while under Babidi's control. Goku realizes this behavior stems from a personal grudge and is forced to fight back despite Supreme Kai's intervention. To prevent further collateral damage, Goku uses Babidi's magic to teleport them to a secluded location. Supreme Kai and Gohan proceed with their mission, leaving the two Saiyans to duel alone. Although Babidi orders Vegeta to kill the departing pair, the prince's immense pride prevents him from obeying his master's command, allowing the confrontation between the rivals to continue without interference.
