Krillin and Gohan rescue a young Namekian boy named Dende from Dodoria's assault. The trio escapes and hides, but Dodoria is soon confronted by Vegeta. After a brief skirmish, Dodoria pleads for his life in exchange for information regarding the destruction of his home planet. Vegeta releases him, and Dodoria confesses that Frieza annihilated Planet Vegeta due to fear of the Saiyan race's potential. Enraged by the deception and realizing he was manipulated, Vegeta executes the fleeing Dodoria.
