Goku, Krillin, and Gohan recover in the hospital after their battle with Vegeta while friends visit. A TV report about Nappa's space pod leads Bulma to use a remote, accidentally causing the pod to self-destruct. Mr. Popo then reveals the existence of another vessel, the Namekian ship Kami used to reach Earth as a child. Bulma inspects the craft at Yunzabit Heights with him, discovering it is voice-activated in the native Namekian language. After Bulma translates the language to English over several weeks and learns to operate the ship, Gohan and Krillin decide to join her on the journey to Planet Namek to search for the Namekian Dragon Balls.
