Krillin and Dende proceed toward the Grand Elder's residence while Vegeta engages Zarbon, Frieza's second-in-command. Although Vegeta initially dominates the fight, Zarbon undergoes a hideous transformation that drastically increases his power, turning the tide against the Saiyan. Concurrently, King Kai telepathically contacts Goku to report that Yamcha, Tien, Chiaotzu, and Piccolo have reached his planet in the Other World for training, mirroring Goku's own past preparation. King Kai also reveals that Frieza is the tyrant oppressing Planet Namek. He urgently warns Goku to avoid confrontation, asserting that no warrior possesses sufficient strength to defeat the formidable Frieza.
