Ep. 23: Vegeta senses energy without a scouter and destroys a Namekian village for a Dragon Ball

Vegeta has learned to detect ki without a scouter while on Earth. He senses Gohan, Krillin, and Dende, who lower their energy to hide, except Dende. A large Namekian fish distracts Vegeta, who mistakes it for the ki source, revealing his incomplete mastery. He then finds a village of approximately 20 Namekians and demands their Dragon Ball. After the elder refuses, Vegeta kills everyone and retrieves the ball from a hut. He throws it into a nearby lake to prevent Frieza and his forces from locating it. Meanwhile, Dende accompanies Krillin to visit the Grand Elder of Namek.
