Vegeta saves Gohan from Frieza, claiming the act proves his Super Saiyan status rather than showing care. He powers up significantly, astonishing Gohan, Krillin, and Piccolo, yet Frieza effortlessly deflects every attack using only 1% of his strength. Desperate, Vegeta fires a blast capable of destroying Planet Namek, but Frieza blocks it with his foot, destroying a different planet instead. Frieza then overwhelms Vegeta, beating him while criticizing his past ungratefulness despite previous special treatment. Gohan tries to intervene but is restrained by Piccolo, who believes he cannot help. Just as hope fades, Goku emerges from the rejuvenation chamber in Frieza’s spaceship, fully recovered and stronger than ever.
