Piccolo arrives on Planet Namek after being resurrected and wishes to be transported there. He rushes toward the battlefield but encounters a dying Nail. Reluctantly, Piccolo fuses with Nail, significantly boosting his power before returning to the fight. Meanwhile, Frieza attacks the Earthlings with energy blasts and charges at Vegeta after being mocked. The two struggle evenly while powering up, shocking Frieza. Goaded by Vegeta, Frieza transforms into his second form, raising his power level to over one million. Using this new strength, he destroys most of the island and impales Krillin on one of his horns while charging at him in the air.
