Ep. 56: A Mysterious Teenager Defeats Frieza and Reveals His Super Saiyan Form
A mysterious teenager effortlessly defeats Frieza's soldiers and shocks the tyrant by transforming into a Super Saiyan. Although Frieza attempts to destroy this second Super Saiyan, he fails and remains traumatized. The teenager challenges Frieza to use his full power, which Frieza initially hesitates to do because he planned to save it for Goku. Frieza eventually unleashes his most powerful attack, a Supernova, but the teenager holds it back and avoids the resulting detonation. He then slices Frieza into pieces with his sword and blasts him away. King Cold tries to fight the Super Saiyan but is easily killed, and his ship is destroyed. After reverting to his normal state, the teenager informs the Z Fighters that Goku will arrive soon. Despite their skepticism, they agree to wait for his arrival.
