Krillin spares Android 18 and destroys the remote, prompting him to urge her and Android 16 to flee. Cell convinces Vegeta to allow him to capture Android 18, but Trunks intervenes to stop the absorption. Trunks fights his father to prevent Vegeta from letting Cell reach his perfect form. While Vegeta and Trunks clash, Cell leisurely defeats Krillin and Android 16. Using Solar Flare to blind his opponents, Cell absorbs Android 18 and achieves his Perfect Form.
