Ep. 85: Goku seeks a Namekian to create new Dragon Balls after the Self-Defense Force fails against Cell.

While Piccolo trains in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and Vegeta takes his place, Goku and Gohan relax at home. The Self-Defense Force attempts an offensive strike against Cell but is completely wiped out. Upon hearing this via radio, Goku asks Piccolo if he can separate from Kami to use the Dragon Balls for reviving the victims. Because Piccolo cannot separate, Goku theorizes that convincing another Namekian to remain on Earth would allow for the creation of a new set of Dragon Balls. He then travels to King Kai's planet to find these Namekians and pursue this solution.
