While Mr. Satan promotes himself to the press, Z Fighters including Vegeta, Goku, and Piccolo arrive at the arena. Mr. Satan demands to fight first but yields to his students Caroni and Piroshki, who are swiftly defeated by Cell without effort. Attempting to intimidate Cell, Mr. Satan breaks tiles and attacks, only to be knocked out of the ring by a single blow that spares his life. Seeking a worthy challenger, Cell waits for a real opponent. Goku then enters the ring to face Cell, marking the start of the serious battles. The Z Fighters watch as the main event commences with the Saiyan warrior ready to engage the android.
