Powerless Vegeta flees alongside companions from his duplicate and Gryll. Potage reveals they are extensions of Commeson, a rogue bio-weapon that created the Superhuman Water legend by mimicking berserk invaders. He explains that the original Vegeta vanishes upon cloning, similar to the real Gryll and his men, unless the clone is destroyed promptly. Goten and Trunks fight the Duplicate Vegeta as Gotenks until Goku senses their peril and intervenes. The Duplicate Vegeta, suffering from Vegeta’s personality as a side effect, battles his Commeson instincts. He defeats the Duplicate Gryll to secure a fair fight against Goku.
