Bulma hosts a party at Capsule Corporation after the tournament. Beerus lies about inviting Monaka, knowing Goku would fight him. Monaka attends because Jaco orders from his delivery company. Beerus reveals the truth and threatens others to hide it from Goku. When Goku arrives, Goten and Trunks suggest Beerus wear a Monaka costume to fight him. Beerus agrees. The fight ends when Whis and Pu'ar, disguised as Beerus, intervene. Goku remains unaware of the deception. Everyone continues the festivities without revealing the truth to him. The group maintains the secret to preserve the celebration's atmosphere and avoid Goku's intense desire to battle Monaka.
