Ep. 24: Nappa arrives and defeats Krillin, Piccolo, Tien, and Chiaotzu after Yamcha's death.

Following Yamcha's death at the hands of a Saibaman, the group mourns at Kame House. Krillin engages the remaining Saibamen, using a powerful energy blast to destroy four of them while Piccolo eliminates the final one. The conflict escalates as the Saiyan Nappa enters the fray, demonstrating superior strength against the defenders. Tien is severely injured and loses his right arm during the encounter. In a desperate move, Chiaotzu attaches himself to Nappa's back and detonates himself after a telepathic farewell to Tien. This kamikaze attack proves largely ineffective against the Saiyan warrior, leaving the heroes in a dire situation.
