Ep. 23: Vegeta and Nappa deploy Saibamen for combat testing while Tien, Chiaotzu, and Yamcha arrive to fight.

Vegeta and Nappa cultivate Saibamen to evaluate their opponents' power. Tien, Chiaotzu, and Yamcha arrive to join the conflict. Tien faces a Saibaman first and defeats it easily using his training. Enraged by the loss, Vegeta destroys the defeated creature. Yamcha then battles another Saibaman, which appears stronger than expected. The opponent grabs Yamcha and self-destructs, resulting in the death of both combatants.
