Ep. 28: Goku arrives to find Piccolo dead and Earth facing Nappa without hope

Piccolo sacrifices himself to shield Gohan from Nappa, dying while apologizing for his harsh training methods. His death causes Kami and the Dragon Balls to vanish, eliminating any chance of resurrection. With Earth seemingly doomed, Goku finally arrives and provides Senzu beans to Gohan and Krillin. After learning the fate of his friends, he directs his anger toward the formidable Nappa.
